The only people who ever texted April O'Neil were her father and Irma, and as much as she loved both, it wasn't the most exciting thing. A buzz would go off, and April couldn't help but roll her eyes knowing it was either her dad anxiously asking when she'd be home or Irma wanting to anxiously hang out.
All her life, April had struggled with friends and fitting in. She was a yellow dot in a crowd of grey, and she knew it should bug her...but it didn't. Though, life was boring with the very little friends she had. The teasing became the same old, same old, and the weird looks no longer fazed her.
But that changed when she met them. The four brothers from the sewers became the most unlikely friends for her, and she couldn't complain. Though, out of all of them, it was the purple one who caught her interest.
Where as before her phone would go off and she rolled her eyes at the messages left by Irma and her father, she now found messages of all sorts from Donatello that she couldn't get enough of.
It always started off as simple, then they would bleed into longer messages about life, her thoughts, things that April never could find the courage or patience to tell her father, Irma...anyone.
Whenever her phone went off, April found her hand instantly reaching for her phone rather than shying away from it. She'd often be disappointed by Irma and her father, but that disappointment would disappear upon getting a message from the tallest of the brothers.
Donatello had amazing things to say, and it was an enigma that no one else seemed to listen to him. Yes, he was a brainiac, but he was also a philosopher was kind and caring and the most genuine person she had ever met. He always asked about her, about her day, he would tell her his secrets and never expect anything in return.
She grew to love his messages, no matter how big or small or profound or not they were. They were so Donatello, the one person she never expected to find a best friend in. He made her boring days at school interesting, he made her look forward to study breaks, and he made her look forward to the small gaps of time she had to talk in her busy and unusual life. And even when she fell asleep, she looked forward to the cheerful noise her phone made when a message was saved for her in her phone that she knew would be waiting for her and her alone come morning.

TMNT - Kissing A Frog?
----------------------*****************----------------
The once noisy lab that was polluted with sounds of heavy machinery and bashing, finally settled down, leaving a calming silence, yet even in this silence, something stirred, someone made a sound.
Donnie hummed to himself taking a rag polishing the part he has been working on for hours.
He wanted it to shine, regardless on the fact, later it will be lubricated with rich thick oil, yet he still took pride in his work, knowing all to well what it will end up to be, in the end.
Take Raph’s bike for example, how many times did he slaved way, fixing it for hi

TMNT - Apritello - First Date
April stood in front of her mirror wearing nothing but her undergarments. Donnie had told her to dress formal. What was formal? What was he going to wear? Was he going to wear anything? Can he even wear anything? She asked herself all the questions as she stared at her mostly naked self. She sighed and walked over to closet. She didn’t own anything formal. How formal should it be? Like dinner party formal? Or wedding formal? What did formal mean to a turtle? Did he mean just not her typical T-Shirt and shorts? Or was he expecting something spectacular?
This was her first time being with Donnie in a way that’s more than friendly.

A little drabble based on something in my life right now. I know I've been behind in TMNT, but I haven't ditched it. Have some fluff. This can be seen as platonic OR romantic, depending on what you prefer.
